Me and my boyfriend are planning on going to Virgina Beach this June for our week vacation. We live in North Carolina, so its not too far. Anyway, we need advice on what to do. We have never been before. Any advice on things to do, where to go, where to stay would be great. Any websites that we can get on to send us a brochure? Any websites with good info on Virgina Beach? Oh we are 22 and 25 years old so nightlife would be great too! Thanks!
Virginia Beach is a great vacation choice. It’s a very fun place. Beaches are nice. They have Chesapeke Bay Beach, Resort Area, and Sandbridge. Sandbridge is the least crowded of the 3 beaches, Resort Area is the most crowded. Shopping is good. I like Town Center/Pembroke Mall for shopping. They have plenty of comedy clubs and nightclubs for entertainment. There’s also kayaking and birdwatching. You can even take a whale watching tour or a segway tour.

The above poster gave some great info. I’d like to add Chick’s Beach, most tourists don’t go there so it’s not as crowded. That beach is largely residential and there are very few hotels, but here’s a good one:

First Landing State Park and the North End Beach aren’t too far away from there either.
va beach is awsome i live about 30 min from there althought the water might still be a little cold in june theres plenty of shops and attractions right on the strip and far as night time and weekends go there is peabodies on 21st or 22nd st theres a sports bar down stairs and a night club there is a club called the candy cane on the strip i wouldnt recomend going there there is also waterside and grandby st in norfolk waterside is a good place to grab dinner and club on tues. and wens. but not on the weekends and grandby st is just a bunch of diffrent bars rest. and clubs hope i was of some help have fun
