Virginia Beach Info??

I am going to Virginia beach the weekend of the 1st for the Rockstar Mayhem Festival with one of my best friends. We are 18 and 19. We're just wondering what is the nightlife like? No we dont drink (underage obviously) but what about some clubs, live music or dj is cool, also any kind of music. What are some good restaurants to check out too? anything else we should try to do while we are there?

Surfing East Coast US?

I am looking for some good spots to surf within maybe a 3 hour drive from D.C. Anyone have some good suggestions? Ocean City? Virginia Beach? Outer banks (kind of far but maybe do-able) Also, if you know of a good one, are surfing lessons available there?

thinking of moving to VB virginia, to an apt building on the boardwalk,the Mayflower apts, what do you think,anyone know about these apts, how are they, are the apts nice, are the tenants nice? what should i expect, how about Virginia Beach in general, what is to do,do not need NightLife,whatelse is available, how are the prices in supermarkets, other stores, can a person live within the city limits of VB or do they really need to go to other towns Norfolk, Chesapeak? in general what can you tell me about VB all answers appreciated,

Where to eat & party in the Virginia beach area?

I'm going on Vacation to virginia beach during the summer, and I'd like to know where are some good places to eat (preferably walking distance, anywhere along the boardwalk or a few blocks in) Oh and that isn't gonna leave me broke... Also whats the nightlife like? any place appropriate for a group of girls in their mid-20's ...whether its clubs, bars, bands... Any info would be great thanks!!

Moving to Virginia Beach?

I am in the process of deciding whether or not to move from Richmond, VA to the Virginia Beach area. Can anyone give me some pros and cons of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, or Hampton areas? What is the nightlife like, are rents affordable, overall is it a nice place to live?

Which area would be better for pier or surf fishing?Virginia Beach or south to Morehead City orbWritesville NC

I need to go to Raleigh later this week and wonder if I should go to Virginia Beach on the way or after I get there go somewhere on North Carolina Coast. Not looking to catch anything specific just go where some action is. Are the areas still a mess from weather? I might also go to Falls Lake but I won't be bringing a boat. Beach Vacation Spots in the Northeast?

I live in New Jersey. I am looking to find a nice young, hip vacation spot within a four hour drive from my state. We thought over the idea of Connecticut but I am not really too familiar with their beaches. Are the hotels affordable in the Summer there? Any ideas regarding spots that would offer us nightlife, beaches and clean, affordable hotels? Ocean City, MD has extremely expensive hotel rates and Virginia Beach is too far a drive. Any suggestions would help immensely. I've been nearly everywhere in NJ. We're trying to get away. I live on the shore as well so getting away from it would be a break.
